The name “Speckled Hen” was chosen in celebration of diversity and our goal of creating a space that would be open and inviting for all. Just like the speckles visible on a hen we believe there is tremendous beauty found when we bring our differences together and learn, grow, and work in community.

Being located in the heart of Lancaster county provides us with the opportunity to work with many local farmers and purveyors. It’s a wonderful privilege to serve coffee roasted right here in Lancaster County, PA and to partner with local farmers for the freshest ingredients.

We believe every plate and each drink we prepare is a form of art, made with care and crafted with simple ingredients to be enjoyed to it’s fullest.
